I definitely think if you don't understand the art world the writing can be very complex. I've been with judith from the beginning and felt a range of opinions about her as the trilogy went on. I cried at the revelation that actually judith did kill her own sister instead of the baby accidentally drowning as suggested in the 2nd instalment and i hated judith at this point i hated her also for killing Romero da silva as I believed he wouldn't have really killed judith in the end. I feel sad that judith didn't get an happy ending with da silva as i was hoping for. I feel lost now the trilogy has ended. I read this novel in four days and was barely seen with out it. Brilliant writing by a brilliant author
