I started reading this series by @l.s.hilton years ago and have just finished the last book, ultima today. I really enjoyed this series. It was incredibly unique in that it was part thriller, part erotica but it was also incredibly smart with all the art house details.
Each book could be read separately however I feel you get the best story if you read all 3 in order as you see how the main character Judith changes through out the stories and different situations she runs into. The second book I remember I didnt enjoy as much but I loved maestra and ultima so if you enjoy it, or can get through if not I would suggest doing so.
Theres so many twists and turns and the books always keep you on your toes but never makes you feel like you cant follow along!
