She is a friend (with no friends), she is a lover (with no partner), clever, witty and she knows what she wants. The world is spinning around her but she needs to keep it cool, to achieve what she decided to do! The price is high, the risks are - even higher!
It would be absolutely boring for Elizabeth - Judith to leave the simple life of a house-wife. No. This is not for her. So she goes out and she finds multiple ways to lie so well, that even she doesn't know where the border between the lie and the truth.
I could't think of anything but a fox, when I was reading this wonderful book! We always have at least two paths to chose and, frankly, we almost never know what the other way could bring us to? Same with Judith: she has to chose wise and smart her next step...
