Just having read the opening chapters i think this will be a book that will brings tears throughout, so if you enjoy a good cry then this is a book for you. Learning about how Wolfie and Mona met and the darkness in their childhoods had already tugged at my heartstrings, before i realised that there was now a new darkness for them to worry about.
I always enjoy a story told by different characters as you often get a truer sense of what really happened. The writing instantly draws you in and in just a few pages i want to know more about Wolfie and Mona and their neighbours.
I suspect this will ultimately be an uplifting read filled with love, but also a lot of tears.
