I was pleasantly surprised by this book. From the front cover I thought it would be a little whimsical, but not to be. This is a story of a couple, Wolfie and Mona, well known in a community. Wolfie who owns the deli and smoked salmon in his shed, a warm, hardworking character, reflects his every day life. His love for his wife is strong but the worry of her failing health is starting to show. I think this a book with real depth of characters.
