Gemma Reeves's debut novel, Victoria Park, follows two characters who have lived on that particular street for more than 50 years. The story not only discusses their aging, and their enduring marriage, but also presents a series of short segments about other characters woven together around them. The cover looks fresh and trendy, while the story is heartfelt and ageless. I image this to be a great read, and an impressive first novel that has something for everyone: young, old and in between.
