I loved the opening chapter of Victoria Park and warmed to Wolfie straight away. His routines and precision with the smoked salmon process...I could almost smell it! I also felt the closeness and love within Mona and Wolfie’s relationship from the outset. Clearly she is struggling cognitively and I anticipate difficult times ahead.
I wanted to note that I really liked the titles of the chapters. Who wouldn’t be intrigued by ‘Tenderly’ and ‘Sharing Time’. This looks like a heartfelt read about later life and long standing love. Beautiful.
