Just reading these first glimpses of life living with I assume dementia it really breaks my heart. But it also feels heartwarming too. The characters are so real they almost have a life of their own. I love how it deals with the present and the past in both its goodness and the not so good bits. This isn’t just about love between husband and wife it’s how they fit in a community that is changing and how over time people change for better or worse. My eyes are brimming as it hits close to home. Just marvellous.
