The opening couple of chapters are so beautifully written it is hard to not want to read more and see where the characters go on their individual journeys. The cover is appealing, but probably not something that would have made me pick it up to find out more had I seen it in a book shop, as it isn't usually my kind of thing. I would be interested to read more as I enjoyed the characters and the language used to initially grip me!
