I saw a lovely relationship between this old couple. Mona's dementia was so beautifully brought to life by the author. I felt both sad and happy about the life that Mona now inhabits. Wolfie tries to pretend everything is as it should be, by continuing to have parties like the old days. A well written book that could melt the hardest of hearts. Brilliant.
