This books gives us an insight into the lives of twelve different people over the course who all live on the same street. We change perspective and see relationships between the people grow and change as well as being reminded that Mona is slowly being taken by dementia as Wolfie stands by helpless.
I really enjoyed reading this book and flew through it. It was an easy and enjoyable read but I think I hoped for more in the ending. The story is very well written and the change of character voice is done very well and it does feel like someone else has written each chapter. It's a beautiful trip through time and is something we can all relate to. How many of us really know our neighbours and what is actually going on in there lives.
The cover of the book is gorgeous and the colour of the cover really appeals to me. I had never heard of the author before but look forward to more of her work.
