Victoria Park is set across a year, one month at a time, and focuses on different individuals who live around the aforementioned location. Each story links to some of the others, some more obviously so than the rest. Although each person is different, they all have various troubles or issues which are explored or touched upon. I found this to be a very relaxing read, despite some of the storylines being based around emotive topics. Victoria Park is a fairly short book and I feel like I could easily have read another year about these characters, if not more. I liked the style of writing and found it to be very engaging and also able to raise issues in a sensitive fashion. I would definitely like to read more from Gemma Reeves and hope she will be writing more and publishing soon! Thank you to Readers First for my advance copy to read and review.
