This book is so touching and is a brilliant read for anyone, I highly recommend this book as it is definitely one of my favourites.This book floats dreamily between multiple seemingly-unrelated characters, who all have one thing in common: Victoria Park. Some characters exist for only a chapter, and then are only mentioned in passing again so you’re offered a glimpse into the everyday. Gemma Reeve’s moving debut novel stands out as an excellent illustration of how effective this method of storytelling can be.
