This was harder to get into than I expected it to be. I liked the fact that the author wrote from lots of peoples perspectives and throughout the year. I loved Wolfie and Mona’s story which was as lovely as it was sad. Bettie and Mia were interesting as a sideline. Monty was only present in others stories which made him mysterious although I felt sorry for Daniel. Elena and Luca should have been the perfect love story but were not and their children both unique and clearly they had their own secrets from their parents and Freddy from others too. I really wanted Freddy to tell his mum and dad about what he really wanted and who he really was. This was quite an easy book to follow and their lives seemed to be interwoven with one another without really touching much the delicate links to Victoria park were there and ever present. I enjoyed this book once I got into it.
