I absolutely loved this book, it was such an enjoyable read.
Each chapter introduced us to a new member of the Victoria Park community over the course of a year and with each new chapter the stories of the previous chapters were effortlessly woven in - showing how interconnected we all are.
Each story was interesting and well written, enough details given but not everything given away. The characters drew you in and although each was only given a chapter you felt really invested in their story. At the end none of the stories were 'wrapped up' but were left open, we were given hints about how they might go (good and bad) but are left to imagine the next steps as we'd like. I easily could have read another book full of these characters and their lives, to find out what happens next.
This book really exceeded my expectations and I'm so pleased that I won it.
