This was a very easy read and I liked the writing style of the author, and although not my usual genre I thought I would enjoy it. However, I found that there were a lot of characters introduced, but I felt their stories didn't go anywhere because we didn't get chance to get to know them. I did like that in each character's chapter you saw the other characters through their eyes, but it was often so brief that I didn't think it really added much to what you knew about the character's or thier overall story. This was something that I felt about the whole book, that there wasn't really a plot. It felt like we were only every introduced to characters and I certainly think that some of the characters could have had really interesting stories or could have had some really intresting backstories that could have been included, to show how they got to the place they are at when we meet them.
