Found this to be a pretty middle of the road read thus far. The opening vollies for the secrets have been fired but I'm just not that convinced there is enough here to hold my interest.

The characterisation is good and Naomi is well rounded and reads as a "real" person. We have only had glimpses of her sister, Rebecca, but there is little to base an idea of her personality on. Strangely, Naomi's friends Heleny and the one whose name I can't remember but it too begins with a N, have enough life in their conversation with Naomi to already delineate them.

Nothing to write home about from the first few chapters but may have sufficient promise to go on "hmmm... maybe" pile.
