The synopsis really grabbed my intention as I love reading about different countries, especially their experiences during the war which can be very humbling. I have enjoyed similar books set on Mediterranean islands and felt so tempted to read this one. It sounds as if there would be a gradual unravelling of secrets, not necessarily all good, and I can't wait to find out more.
