Between the cover and the blurb I already had a pretty good idea that this book would not be to my tastes. Nothing in the first look changed my mind so I'll definitely be skipping this one.
It seems like a decently written book though so if the blurb intrigues you it could be worth checking out.
Personally I don't like the cover but that is more because I know I don't like the style of book that typically has a cover like this one. I do think the cover is eye-catching and represents the genre of the story well though but it is just not for me.
