Very enjoyable
Villa Of Secrets is the well written second novel by this author following her successful book “Island of Secrets”.
It is a tale of two sisters and their grandmother, who it turns out was a war heroine. A novel telling of the bravery, enduring love and loss spanning three generations over the period from the Second World War to the present day.
Rebecca in London, desperate to have a child receives parts of a gun in the post from her estranged relatives in Rhodes. She eventually goes there and the history unfolds.
I enjoyed this book far more than I expected, the writing was smooth and the storyline kept my interest throughout. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you decide to read this novel.
