From the blurb I knew thie book was about witches and folklore so I was a bit taken aback by the reference to Disney and motorway services in the first few pages, however, once I realised it was a fantasy novel with a modern setting I found it enjoyable and easy to read. Don't like the cover art though, it looks like a children's book!
