A Highly Intriguing Start That's Left Me Wanting More

I'll confess it was the title of this book that initially captured my attention, then the blurb - with it's promises of mythology - left me needing to know more. From the first line of this book I was hooked though. The writing instantly intrigued me and has already managed to create a strong sense of foreboding as to what will come next. Within just a couple of chapters I'm already intrigued by Ivy and hooked upon the potentially sinister mystery of her past. Needless to say I can't wait to learn more; I can't imagine just how intense this book will get once Ivy visits the island.
