I wasn't sure what to expect of this one - it isn't my usual genre at all and I thought would be more historical given the mention of folklore in the blurb. However, I was definitely caught up in this story from the start - the main character, Ivy, is quirky and likeable. I loved her unexpected proficiency in karate. I can't imagine where this book goes next!
