I really like the character of Ivy, she’s had a bad start in life yet she’s taught herself to look after herself, works hard and has plans for her future but still regains a sense of fun with her other young colleague. At this stage it’s actually impossible to see what direction the book will take so if I was unaware it was fantasy I’d be requesting it right now but I’m less sure as it’s a genre I don’t much read however the first look itself was brilliant.
