Instantly I liked the synopsis of the book- I don't think I've ever seen anything like this and it really compelled me to read it. Once I started reading, I immediately felt drawn to Ivy is a very relatable character in the way she holds herself. The book is well paced - not too fast or too slow - and the characters seem to have a lot of unseen depth to them.
