What I liked instantly was the main character, Ivy, and how she seems to want to do whatever she can to find her mother. I also love the fact that it’s Welsh mythology and Arthurian legends because I don’t see that in books very often. The cover of the book also ties in quite well with the cormorant on the front as well as the lighthouse, both of which got mentioned in the blurb so it ties in quite nicely.
