I wasn't much of a fan of Rachel Burge's first novel The Twisted Tree and then I didn't read The Crooked Mask, so initially I didn't feel interested in this novel either. However I am glad for the sampler provided as it has definitely intrigued me and I will for sure be picking this up at some point.
