I must admit the cover alone doesn't really grab me and based on that alone it wouldn't call out to me to purchase but I love stories that involve witchcraft and that would make me read on. Ivy's background is intriguing, especially the note and the telephone call certainly made me interested to know more. I enjoyed the writing style, and could see myself engaging with Ivy as she embarks on her adventures to find out about her life.
