I love books that draw on folklore, myth and magic so Waking the Witch seems right up my street. I loved the opening pages from the descriptive writing about nature to the humour in the dialogue. I am intrigued by the mystery of the story and Ivy looks like a promising protagonist to follow on the journey as she uncovers lots of secrets.
