When I receive the book I thought the cover was fantastic, I was drawn to the pictures and they go well with the novel itself, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the characters relatable in many ways, a young girl a bit lost in the world who wants to know her background, who was her mother and why was she left alone at a young age???. Finally tracing her mother it takes the main character and her companion (love interest) to a remote island with a deep history for the other side, she price by peice descovers the reason why her mother gave her up and the daily battle of keeping her daughter safe and out of harm's way. The story is very fantasy and perfect for a younger reader. If you like to lose yourself in the world of fantasy this is the one for you. Will definitely be passing on to my friends to read and will definitely look out for more from this author.
