I really loved the title of this book and the front cover was really great. Loved the colours
Normally I don't like reading middle grade books but loved this one.
Ivy is 17 and after being abandoned as a baby she lived with different foster parents. But she finally as found her birth mum and goes off to visit her with her work mate Tom.
It turns out that Ivy's mum lives in a lighthouse on a tiny island off the coast of Wales. And she isn't happy to see them. She starts talking about Ivy being in danger and the shadows might get her.
I really enjoyed this. I liked all the characters and the story was fast passed and kept me gripped.
I love reading books about witches and this one was really good for a middle grade. It had scary parts and I just couldn't put this book down.
I will be looking out for more books by this author.
