This book follows seventeen year old Ivy's search for her mother and the truth. When she finds her it opens up a whole new world for her. Ivy has lived in care since bing abandoned at a motorway service station as a baby and now works at a butterfly house. One day she gets a strange call from her mother saying that dark and sinister things may now be after her. So as strange things start to happen Ivy and her co-worker Tom set off to the remote Welsh isles to find her and find out more. Her onky chance of survival is to look deep within herself. The characters in this story are strong dark and creepy and I loved the interactions between Tom and Ivy. The inclusion of Arthurian Legend and welsh myths were great as well. I enjoyed reading this book it was a mix of YA horror and YA fantasy, creepy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy this type of story
