Waking the witch is a book which is steeped in Welsh mythology and Arthurian legend. It’s certainly intriguing, one of the main characters being Ivy, a unique individual who is in search of her birth mother.
As i followed Ivy along, it was almost like I was entering this world of fantasy which seemed to completely envelop my senses, dragging me into this new found atmosphere. The book is written in such easy flowing and beautiful way which intrigued and captivated me. It was truly an experience to have the opportunity to read such a book, the story line and the plot being phenomenal!
It’s definitely a huge jump from my usual addiction to the more physiological thrillers, but this has definitely got to be an exception, it truly being a work of art. I feel like it would be wrong for me to not recommend such a great read. Even the characters were such unique individuals as themselves.
It’s a definite read which I would highly recommend to everyone.
