I was really excited for this book and so lucky to get an early copy. But I wound up DNFing it sadly. I thought it would be exciting but as the two teens - I can't even remember their names now - were travelling to the island I just got so bored. I didn't like their relationship and my intrigue on the other elements just wasn't high enough.
I didn't really see enough of the fantasy elements to comment on that. They did seem interesting and i know this is witchy and Arthurian which is pretty fun. I do wish I'd been able to get a bit further in but yeah. I just really wasn't enjoying it.
Would I recommend this book to others? Possibly. If they're willing to get through a slow starting book. Also if someone is more interested in Arthurian legend there may be more interest in the book for them. Or if they really like bugs as I did feel like I learned a little.
