From reading the ‘first look’, I already really like the sound of this. It hooked me and it was only a few chapters. I love the character development from the beginning. I really like Ivy as a character and the way that she handles difficult situations. I also loved learning little things about butterflies too, I know it’s only a small part but I think it helped to break it up almost and give a little more to the story. I am really interested to find out more about Ivy’s mum too, there’s a lot going on by the sounds of it. She also sounded as if she was very good at her job it’s a shame she got fired, I mean it was probably the right thing to do considering what happened, but still. I also can’t wait to find out how the witchiness comes into play, I absolutely adore this kind of fiction and I really hope to be able to read the full book eventually, sounds really good!
