The first half of the book I found incredibly entertaining, I loved Tom as a side character and thought he would bring a lot of fun to the story and I loved the reasoning for Ivy wanting to go to the island because I felt it was a genuine one.

I loved when we got to the island and had the haunting no electricity situation, it felt incredibly creepy and that creepiness did last throughout the book even when the entertainment for me didn't.

It just got a bit weird for me and a bit boring, I didn't care for the concept and I was a bit lost through it all and just was waiting for more Tom action.

I found the ending to have terrible pacing, the preperation, the conflict and resolution all coming together in a matter of only 20 pages and it just wasn't paced well enough for me at all.

A fun and spooky read that is seeped in Welsh mythology and Arthurian legend which is an element I loved so would still encourage those who are interested to try it out!
