Throughly enjoyed from start to finish, ivy is a good young girl who as spent her life in the care system but she has always had the desire to find her mum and find out why she was abandoned, ivy has gone through life as a loner never really fitting in anywhere or feeling like she belongs, she did have one friend (Katie) but that didn’t last. At the age of seventeen she is working in a butterfly house where she becomes friends with Tom (the owner’s nephew) he acts like a bit of a clown and makes her laugh. One day she goes into work as normal and everything is fine then she receives a call from her mum tells her she must be careful and never come to the island (the her mum lives on) then during one of her talks a strange man suddenly attacks her she is totally shocked but really wants to know why? She then decides to go to see her mum and try to find answers Tom offers to take so much happens during this story that you become engrossed only thing bad is the ending ( does she come back and what really happened to Katie???
