The front cover intrigued me and made me excited to read it.
However, the first two pages, before Chapter 1, confused me. The first few pages into chapter 1 also felt quite slow and seemed to jump all over the place. I stuck with it and finished the extract and the story started to even put and not feel as jumpy!
I would definitely give the book a go to see where the story goes.
