I liked both the synopsis and the front cover. The road in the front cover seems like a metaphor to a life being a journey or it can simply mean, a journey.
The synopsis is interesting about a man returning after 30 years to the town where he had supposedly killed his girlfriend's sister.
The first part of the story, starts with briefly what happened prior to him returning to the town. Then it fast forwards to when he arrives and what happened there after.
