I definitely feel interested by the cover as it is a very pretty sunset with striking colours. I like the colour scheme and the title stands out among the picturesque scene. However, it reminds me more of an American literature type of book then one about a killer.
The extract was intriguing due to so many characters being introduced all at once. This made it a bit confusing and I had to go back and reread several passages. But after doing this, I understood a little more of the story and Walk's role in it. I would definitely be interested to see where this goes as stories with mystery and killers majorly appeal to me.
