After reading (and loving) this author's other two books, I was so excited to hear about this one.
And it looks like he's done it again, as the calibre of the writing and its moody vibe has already won me over. As have these characters with guts, people I actually want to learn more about and discover what makes them tick.
By skirting around the edge of something dark it invited me to keep peering over hoping to see what's coming next. So that cover, with its unsettled clouds gathering over a golden field, is perfectly atmospheric!
