This book was not what I expected when I first started reading it, it is very well written in fact I felt like the author was reading it aloud to me. Duchess and Robin don’t have the best of lives and you are really routing for there lives to be turned around when they go to live with there grandfather Hal who they haven’t seen for a long time. Robin is desperate for a family life and really takes to his new life well, Duchess however rebels all the time, reminding everyone that she is an outlaw. The kids try to forget about there mother Star and what happened but it comes back to haunt them in the worse way and not even Hal can save them. The plot I’d fully of twists and turns and I find I am routing for Walt to get Vincent out of prison. I loved every minute of this book.
