I did really enjoy the book but I did find parts slightly slow. If you can push through the slower parts and really concentrate then you will really be able to appreciate the book. This was my first book from the author that I have read so I am not sure if this is his usual style of writing or if it is just the book in general.
The characters were likable and I like how they were described. It felt like I got to know them very well and therefore was able to develop connections with them. The relationship between the children was definitely a standout.
There were many twists and turns throughout the book which I love and I didn't find it predicable at all ( I normally find thrillers predictable)
