I loved this book it was wonderfully written, full of emotions and kept me gripped to the end. Duchess is a 13 year old girl that has been looking after her younger brother, Robin as there mum, Star has been lost and troubled since Vincent King killed her sister. Now he has been released from prison and then star is killed one night. Everything points to Vincent but Walk the policeman and friend of both families believe he is innocent and sets about trying to find out what happened. Duchess is still trying to protect and look after Robin despite tragic events. You can't help but fall in love with the young Duchess and hope everything works out for her and her brother. Definitely worth reading
