Obviously when you choose a book you think you’re going to like it but I loved this book a lot more than I thought I would.

Duchess Radley is a 13 year girl who spends her life trying to care and protect her younger brother Robin whilst trying to support her troubled mother. But she sadly sets of a chain events with devastating consequences for her family, and the whole town.
This is beautiful story full of sadness and grief but alongside this there is love and hope and ultimately just ordinary people trying to live and protect their families. This is a crime thriller with a really well thought out and clever storyline but what makes this book so great is its cast of very real characters that will stay with you long after you finish reading this book . This is definitely a recommended read.
