This was a great read, with lots of twists and turns along the way. It was based around a group of friends. One fateful night a child was killed, the murderer another child of 15 years old. The 15 year old ended up in an adult prison, which as you can imagine was not good. Mean while the other friends got on with their lives as best they could. One became a policeman, others had children. Many years later the once child, now a man is released from prison. Another tragedy occurs and he is right in the thick of it. The story also follows one of the childhood friends children. A brother and sister and where their adventures and the twists and turns of the story take them. It has strong characters and is well written a thoroughly enjoyable book.
