I recieved this book from Readers First in exchange for a honest review.

This book is movie worthy!

It's been 30 years since Vincent King stepped foot on Cape Haven soil, 30 years since little Sissy Radley was killed.
When Vincent returns to his home town, not everyone welcomes him back, particularly Duchess Radley, the niece of Sissy.
Though born years after her aunts tragic death, the aftermath of that fateful night has had an impact on Duchess and her brother Robin, young life's.

Chris Whitaker has written a raw, beautiful, bittersweet story, about love, loss and revenge. His characters are strong and let's the reader either empathise, love, loathe or feel what ever emotion they might at the time of reading, towards them.

His exceptional writing blindsided me and I wasn't expecting a few of the developments to of turned out as they did.
This is one story that has quickly made my list of favourite reads, and one that will stay with me for a long time to come.
