This is a book that I ended up giving up on around the halfway point. Unfortunately, I just could not get drawn into the story enough to hold my attention and for me the most important thing is to be engaged with a story and be excited to read it; sadly I was none of those when reading this.
This book did have a decent amount of mystery to it but it carried on and on where you are lacking interest the further it goes. I guess it was a story I didn't think it would be, I was expecting something else and therefore I was let down by what I ended up reading. In the crime genre I like a lot of suspenseful moments and built up anticipation, and this book is more of a slower character based book that is not for everyone but if you enjoy books that are extremely character driven you may enjoy this.
