When looking at the cover, I did think this book would be a great read. But this book did reach beyond my expectations.
The book begins 30 years prior and explains what has happened since and sets the scene of what is to come.
Chris Whitaker done an amazing presentation of all the characters. They were all realistic, and I am sure readers can at least relate to one or more characters.
All the characters in one way or another are flawed, offering a sense of realism. But I think the character Dutchess, has been an amazing portrayal. Her struggles and her journey with her brother, seems to be truly heroic.
I think this is a great read, and I recommend this book, as it is refreshing book from many others!
