A fun book to read with and to children - I loved it too!
This is such a lovely book, a nice size to hold and it feels robust, books get a lot of use in our house. My grandchildren loved it, they have favourite go to books and this is now one of them.
This book is deceptively simple but is as interactive as you want to make it, lots of oportunities to discuss that happens, what might happen next etc The characters are fun and the illustrations are not too busy. I have read this at bedtime and it is a quick read, I have read it during the day and extended it with lots of discussion, pointing to things etc.
I have seen the children sit with the book on their own, turning the pages and remembering the story, that was when I knew they really liked the book.
I think it would suit many age and ability levels, as a picture book it is sweet and funny, I read it to my grandchildren many times and they enjoyed exploring it on their own.
